Textiles exam project!

Hello! I've just been given my exam project for textiles and I'm so excited! The question I chose is 'Mixed media' and I can choose my own theme. I've chosen to do derelict buildings because I find them so inspiring and beautiful! I've been going crazy looking for buildings in my area that have been abandoned. I wish I lived nearer to London because there are some fantastic abandoned hospitals and mental asylums that would be perfect. While I was looking, I found the work of Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre, and I've falen in love!

Ahhh! They're so beautiful it makes me want to dance! I cant wait to take some pictures of my own!

Hope you're having a great weekend so far! Unfortunately my flying lesson was canceled due to poor weather, but its been rearranged it for the middle of February! So instead of flying a plane today, I went shopping and bought myself a lovely new dress! I'll have to do an outfit post soon as it is far too pretty not to share!

All my January exams are finished! So unbelievably excited for next weekend, I'm having a flying lesson! My Dad got me a voucher for a one hour flight lesson at the airport he works at for my birthday!

Avoidance tactics...

January exam time again... I'm really really really good at avoiding revision. Generally I end up on google reader or taking stupid photos of myself with revision books and my cat:

I've finally managed to set up a blog!
I figured after reading blogs for almost three years I should make myself known to the blog world. 2012 is going to be an exciting one so I thought it was the perfect opportunity!
I'm an 18 year old student in oxfordshire in the last year of A-levels. I currently study textiles, business studies, and psychology.
I hope to study Creative Arts for Theatre and Film in september at the University of Creative Arts in Rochester and eventually become a costume/set designer.

I didn't really think of a big list of new years resolutions, the main one is to really sort my life out and get my priorities straight! I'm so lazy when it comes to my A-levels and I really need to get my head down and stop procrastinating!
